One of the highlights of Kady's menu is undoubtedly their famous Swedish pancakes, a dish that has earned rave reviews from patrons who laud their fluffiness and perfectly paired lingonberry jam. Customers of all ages hugging, laughing, enjoying large portions of delicious looking and yummy smelling food. This is very much a local meet-up place. I arrived after breakfast and before lunch on a Friday and the place was packed. Large parking lot, but very busy. The staff was really moving--but still cheerful and friendly. Above average, fresh coffee (and mine was served in an interesting ceramic mug). Prices are average for an informal, Cafe style restaurant. Only two issues keep it from being a 5 star place. The whole place is very worn and needs a facelift. Counters, booths, and even the bathroom are faded and worn beyond just the normal wear and tear you see in "Mom and Pop" operations. The second issue is that this place is sandwiched in between a very loud freight train track and a very loud CA-99 freeway. There is a small patio for outdoor dining, but not sure I tolerate the noise level, it is bad enough in the building.

Service was outstanding, lady's country kitchen reminds me of bygone coffee shop it was dated yes but clean and cute. I ordered the country fried steak it was just ok I had better , the country fried steak was mushy not quite up to par in my opinion but omg the Swedish pancake was out of this world the lingonberry jam combo was just perfect match pancake was out of this world the longeberry jam combo was just perfect

First time here and the best EVER!!! starting with the service and the food is EXCELLENT. I wish I could give them a 10. Friendly, attentive and great environment

Excellent service and food! Always a stop on our way to the Sequoias. Never disappoints.

Not a fan of the food. Found this place driving back to Vegas from CA and wanted breakfast. They were super busy, so it has to be good, right? WRONG! I will preface my comments with some positive points. First, even though they were busy, the staff was really friendly - always a plus and they had beautiful outdoor seating area (although we were ordering takeout). Unfortunately, the food wasn't that good. We had biscuits and gravy, bacon and eggs, the portions were healthy, but the food was bland - not a seasoning to be found. Now granted, their clientele seem to be on the "more mature" side, so it's a bit understanding given possible dietary restrictions - it just wasn't for us. Other than that, I would recommend at least a visit. :-)

A comfortable home town restaurant with no big shots from another state pulling the strings awaits you in Kingsburg at Kady's. Good food. Excellent service and a great experience in general awaits.

Rude greeting. Check. Awesome sweet waitress. Check. Amazingly scrumptious Swedish pancakes. Yessssss!!! I daresay they are as good if not better than Sears in San Francisco. I have a pretty good, discriminating palette. Lived in San Francisco and LA, plenty of cruises, eaten at some of the best restaurants on earth. So I think my opinion is valid I try to eat as clean as possible. I will get a migraine if I eat msg or some preservatives. I spit out food that may not be "worth the calories". Husband and I both had the Swedish pancakes and an egg. He had bacon I had sausage. Kind waitress gave me a link and a patty because I couldn't decide. They tasted like grandpa Joe was stuffing them out back. So fresh. Eggs tasted like they plucked them out of the henhouse this morning. Compote scrum. Real butter. Syrup may have been high fructose, the ketchup was. Didn't matter. One of the best diner breakfasts EVER. Maybe I got a good day. But I sat there enjoying every last morsel with my eyes closed murmuring mmmmm scrummy. Scrum de La scrum.... If I were not in public I would have licked the plate. We did not leave a crumb. Empty plates. We ate at the counter but it's worth the wait we heard about if you want a table. Over medium egg cooked to PERFECTION Plates were served almost immediately once put out from the cooks. Waitresses are super fast and efficient. Cooks calmly turned out plate after plate of delicious food. Waitresses served the cooks drinks to stay hydrated. So kind. Yeah. We will go back.

Good home cooking at its finest. Absolutely loved the Swedish Pancakes! The biscuits and gravy were good and the bacon crisp. Will be my go to place in Kingsburg going forward.

Not the best food but definitely as good or better than any chain like ihop. My partner got the Swedish pancakes so I got French toast, both were very good. Where this place gets 5 stars is its local flair and unique personality.

4/29/23 Their Swedish pancakes look like a hit! 2 ordered along with a veggie egg white omelet with ham added. Hash browns. 1 pancake substituted from the other side included. The worker was very kind. I went in to get it and all of the workers were very kind. Very nice, little restaurant. Music playing. Clean and safe. Cute country decor. The order was ready and waiting. Paid for it and another worker asked if I wanted utensils and I asked for sugar free maple syrup and that was brought out shortly later with well wishes! =) 4/30/23 Happy sunday everyone! I got breakfast ready. The Swedish pancake with sugar free syrup was really delicious and flavorful. Nice change from the regular pancake. Egg white veggie omelet with ham added half was fantastic! Fresh veggies, good amount of ham and perfectly cooked egg whites! Cheesy deliciousness too! Hash browns had a nice crunch and flavor as well! Great breakfast! I'm sure mother will feel the same when she wakes up to have hers. Great see service and delicious breakfast! Highly recommended!
